Denver Broncos All-Time Leading Receiver to Join Hosts Vic Lombardi & Gary Miller of CBS4. Every Friday at 8 a.m. for Show Sponsored by Rod Smith’s Healthy Coffee
DENVER—As a player in the National Football League, Rod Smith let his play do his talking for him. When he did speak publicly, he preferred to praise his teammates, and gave only glimpses of the unique perspective and wisdom he carried with him.
Now, one year after his retirement from the game, it’s time to let it all out.
“The Rod Smith Show,” presented by Rod Smith’s Healthy Coffee, hits the airwaves this Friday, Sept. 18, at 8 a.m. on “The Sports Insiders” show on ESPN Radio 1600 AM.
Smith’s addition to “The Sports Insiders” team further strengthens what is already an all-star lineup of Denver Broncos legends, featuring Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway on Mondays, Ed McCaffrey on Tuesdays and Mark Schlereth on Wednesdays. For those who crave football insight throughout the season, that is a dream lineup of Super Bowl champion talent, who hold a special place in the hearts of fans.
Smith, who retired in 2008 as the leading pass-catcher in Broncos history, will join “The Sports Insiders” Vic Lombardi and Gary Miller of CBS4 Sports for his new show every Friday at 8 a.m., sharing his insight and perspective on the latest stories surrounding the Broncos, the NFL, sports in general, and his philosophies on life and success.
